little swimmer
I was just reading Zens thread about her dog rolling about in a dead fish and it reminded me I hadnt put piccies on of Bailey taking his first ever swim while Paul was here.
Bailey has only been off the lead a couple of times , both of which I've had trouble getting him back (the previous owner said he'd not been off the lead before) so as he's 5 years old I was more than nervous "teaching an old dog new tricks" Paul re assured me he would come back ... we were in Haigh Hall, which is basically small woodland area, so if he was going, he was gone... I braved it, and he dived into the pond near by and loved it!! he's been off the lead everyday ever since (the last 2 weeks) and is being great, surprising as normally out walking he's more than a bit excitable (kelly and danny will tell you ) here he is in the pond on his way out... I was stood at the side praying he's swim back ! thankfully he did

Aww he looks like he's enjoying it!! I have a jack russel and he isn;t too fond of water, but if you out him in them pick him up his legs and tail still move as if he was still swimming!! It's hilarious!

yep , came back and shaked all over me. I was more worried about his darting off when he got to dry land so I ran over to grab him he's being a gem though ... like Paul says, I was horribly worried. I practically had to breathe into a brown paper bag !
