Sawdust Grown Grass?

Hey,

I am thinking of making one of those grass head things and I am wondering, if it is grown from sawdust, would the grass be ok to feed?

I've never heard of such a thing EB but sawdust from pine may be toxic

Oh my god Alan!! You just haven't lived. You get some old tights (I used stripy stockings for tobes') fill with whatever you are growing your seeds in, structure a face and pop the seeds in at the top to grow as hair. They are amazing!!!!!!!!!!! We did our stripy one as a punk and gave him a mohawk

Sounds like when we were little Alan & used to hard boil eggs,empty shell, paint a face & plant cress for hair - oh I had an egg...citing childhood!
