Oh no, that is so sad. The loss of a species, a tragic day.

I wonder if they can use his DNA to regenerate the species?

That is sad

They probably can't use his dna and not sure if they ever tried to harvest any sperm from him. It is though slightly possible that there may be pure Chelnoidis abingdonii on the north end of Albermarle island.
