As Valentine's is my birthday, we just exchange cards. We rarely go out on my birthday as we'd rather have a choice of menu and we don't have to remember to book a table 2 months in advance!

We don't spend money on valentines day, birthdays or christmas! Prefer to have two good holidays each year so put money towards that.

We have the same valentines card from each other from ten years back..we add a new message in it each year. Soppy I know, but will be good to look back on 40+ yrs down the line! X

I think thats lovely Joanna My 8 yr old son made me a beautiful card at school, and a little butterfly shaped box filled with love heart sweets (he knows I love butterflies!) and its the best present I ever had

Lol, I think so Em - I thought well a card and/or flowers would be just fine but he went a bit mad , but it was appreciated and got all goo-ey (like you do).
I got him a bathrobe so we kind of both spent a bit. xx
