do these tattooists do it from a template or something these days? they used to be just good artists in days gone by but one of my mates had one done, a football crest and it looked just like it had been stuck on like the type we used to get as kids, lick and stick and wash off but it was a permanent one

If you want one go for it, but do take your time and consider your design carefully. A good tattooist would be prepared to stick a transfer of the design where you want and let you live with it for a few days to make sure you like it. I have lots of tattoos most of my back is covered and the tops of both arms. They can be hidden if i wish, i dont worry about what they will look like when i am 70 as i dont think i will be wearing that many backless tops at that age!

i got my first at 20 then the others followed over the next 10yrs i thought long and hard about each one before i got them drawing them on in felt tip to see if i really did want one. I think if u do plan them and think about what u want rather than making a decision based on 'ohh that looks nice i'll get that' or 'my mates have one i want one' u wont regret them later in life
