Are you doing them correctly with the colon then the word then another colon? No spaces in between. I forgot how to do them, Merlin had to remind me!
Huh? I just click on the smile?

I was following a thread on another forum once and a keeper was asking questions and kept their hermann in a viv. Someone asked if the keeper would post a photo and when they did the viv was about 20 feet long, 8 feet tall and had no lid on it. The tortoise lived on a long platform inside the enclosure which had loads of real living plants, rocks etc. It was fantastic and there was one juvenile hermann in it.

Personally I do think that species like hermanns should get outside for the summer. Their life is much the poorer without that, even if they have a viv the size of a house.

At least it got a very quiet site going:0)opinions vary, once I see someone getting heated I back off, as I have been around a very long time, and can see when I am banging my head against a brick wall.
I think as near to the wild as I can get. Others prefer what suits them not the tortoises.
I always appreciate your opinions Joathan. You always seem level headed:0)

Nothing was getting heated sandy I was trying to get something across too but for some reason people couldn't get their heads around it either. There are people out there that can not keep or get their animals outside for various reasons but nobody could seem to grasp this all we got was they must go out !.I personally agree all tortoises will benefit from being outside but in some cases this is not possible is it so instead of jumping in negatively saying there is no such thing as an indoor tortoise we should maybe try and advise people as to the best options for them so they don't think stuff this and we never see them again
