Default weeds + hatchlings = common sense???

Does the theory that 'if a weed or plant is poisoness then a tort won't eat it anyway' work on hatchlings too? I've found some weeds (WAHEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!) in my garden that look simular to some of the ones on the sticky about weeds, and I have given them to her and she has wolfed them down...but it just keeps playing on my mind as I'm not sure what they are - I've tried taking photos but somethings wrong with my camera and I cant get any that are un-blurred.

They look simular to bitter cress, campanula type... I will try and get some photos posted...

I know my adult torts wont eat poisonous plants (not that I have any<g>) as they avoid toxic
plants in the past. But I would certainly not trust a young tortoise with any plant I was not
sure of.
Try taking a picture not so close up, then it should not be so blurred.
If you have a macro setting on the camera please use this for close up pics.

I would think this is kind of wild survival skill. As for torts kept in viv, both adult and hatching will make mistake.

In my opinion, this is something like experience, but not so-called instinct. The torts who avoid taking certain poisonous plants cos they suffering from them before.
