Default Eating Grass

I am interested in whose torts, well med torts who enjoy eating grass please?
I have moved two Margies recently from a dry rocky enclosure. To freeroam an area with a large lawn. Well as well as demolishing my plant collection they seem obsessed with eating grass. Each time I look out theyre grazing. Consequently their poos now resemble cow pats!

Anyone else got any observations on this?

My margies are obsessed with eating grass too, they love it, and some times do cow pats, so I do have to make sure they get enough pre alpin .

My hermanns don't eat grass other than small greedy ones that will try to eat any green plant material.

two of mine chomp grass like cows no discrimination to clover, vetch, dandelions, nothing. Wolfgang's book said they can't digest it but mine have ok poops.
If I put them in a row I swear they would make tennis court lawn stripes - they mow it.
