does the face book one have all different sections like this (general/sexing/health etc) or is it just comments and replies in one thread type of thing?

It's just comments and replys, so it very different to a forum. I enjoy both, because they're different.

Compared to what this site can do Facebook is very limited- it's a stream of photos and messages that go up when they are posted. But it has that social media connectivity which a lot of people now expect and like. You can jump about between different groups that you are a member of and do messaging and heaps of different things all in the one place. IMO it's not much use for serious thought or discussion and encourages a short attention span!!

I think it has its place, and can be very useful, like I said the two are very different, but both have their place.

I don't see why facebook is so terrible tbh.
It's never going to replace a forum as there are so many sections to a good forum such as this, but it is easy to post photos and see a wide range of people who maybe don't like to use a forum as they are used to facebook. To me, it makes good business sense to be on all types social media, if you aren't there, someone else will be and they'll get the sales.

What happened to the real world when people talked face to face and kids went out to play and interact with each other.
All you see now are people with their heads stuck in their phones on fb t water or other things it really will be the demise of the real human being and the world eventually we will never go out of our homes as everything we will need will be online |
