Default Kent weeds

Hi Claire

I went on a school trip today, to Dover Museum, we had lunch on a lawn that needed cutting.
I spent some of this time picking weeds<g>. There were quite a few, enough to fill a carrier
bag. The children new exactly what I was doing<g>. I can see now it gets misty, foggy along the coast
so it keeps things damper.

Great that you got some Sandy, there are loads and loads. I can get carrier bags by walking for just 10 minutes from my home. Was wondering why you havent got them but perhaps thats it, nearer the coast. The only ones ive seen suffering since the sun are a few of the sowthistles, the rest are loverly. The clover has grown a bit lanky in the field too.

Im fortunate to have a huge field that only gets cut once a year. It has a playground but is almost disused. Its a foot high in places and hosts every wildflower imaginable. Not only that, I know my local council weed sprayer and he has promised me they never ever spray there and never will.
