The giant rabbits are absolutely the best if you don't want to sit and stroke one all day on your lap. Harvey would sit on the floor with his legs on my knee and 'purr'. He was beautiful. Sadly, the loving care he received and the freedom to roam the garden was instrumental to his demise. All the hopping around the garden, and his big rabbit weight, caused a lot of stress on his back legs. One morning he could not move, his back legs has given way. The vet gave steroids for a week but unfortunately as Harvey could not move away from his poo.......well it was better to have him put to sleep. X X X xhugs X X X
