size of indoor table for 2/3 Western Hermann's

Hello... I am new to this forum. Basically I have a 5ft X 3ft tortoise table. At the moment I have two gorgeous 6 month old baby tortoises but I may be getting a third of nearly the same age.
What I want to know is peoples helpful opinions... will this size table big enough for 3 western Hermann's? (I will naturally be putting them outside in the better weather in another enclosure too.) Thanks for your any help

Hello there and welcome to the forum.

Not sure why you haven't had any replies!

A five foot by three foot table is plenty of room for three young Western Hermanns. I have two 21 month old ones in a four by two table when indoors.

If their main accomodation will be outdoors (hooray), this might even suffice for a good few years. Depending on what sex they turn out to be you may need more room or a divided space in case you have any males.

I forgot too add that you should quarentine any new arrivals away from your existing tortoises just in case. If you are getting Western Hermanns from the UK breeder I know, (there aren't many!) it will be fit and healthy but a quarentine period is always recommended.
