Default Tortoise Pyramiding - Help!

Hi guys,

I bought a Hermann's tortoise last Friday - was told he's approximately 2 1/2 and i'm worried that he's not been treated properly as his shell isn't flat.

It's my first tortoise so i'm not sure what's normal and what isn't. His shell isn't overly rough but it's definitely smooth and i'm not sure if this is normal or not!

Also, when i got him his poop was a grey colour, and resembled wet cement; is this normal?

I'm pretty worried as i really want to make sure he's kept and looked after well..

This is him

here are my two

herman:-

I don't think it's bad at the minute but i'm worried about it getting worse.

they're on the correct weed diet, and are housed appropriately, i just want to know if this is bad, and can it be corrected?

It's not too bad. It's really difficult to grow a captive bred tortoise totally smooth, but just keep doing all the things you know to be right and maybe lower temps/up the humidity.
I have one big bumpy female who always produces hatchlings that grow at twice the speed of others. It can be partly genetic but you just ahve to take extra care with ones that have that tendency.
