Default Opening Ceremony

Well I had mixed reactions to that! I thought it was very 'disjointed' if that's the word and if I was someone from a foreign country I wouldn't have had the faintest idea what it was all about. In fact if the commentators hadn't said who the men with the tall hats were I wouldn't have known, so much for my history. The chimneys were good though but there was far to much using films and I thought the modern music choice was terrible, the bit with the queen was well done though, to be honest its the first opening ceremony I've actually got bored in. I did really want tickets but now I'm glad I didn't I certainly wouldn't have paid the top prices for them, the teams looked good though and very colourful.

I thought it was awesome, well done Danny Boyle.

I'm over excited, going to the boxing tonight and I bagged tickets for the last athletics evening in the stadium. (Mo Farrah and the 100m relay final).

It was certainly different from other ceremonies I have watched.
I thought the Queens enterance was pretty good.
I did enjoy it and thought we did ourselves proud
