Default More sadness

Having lost (death) my tortoise I had for 42 years and which came a month or so after one of beloved cats died. I lost a second cat last night

He had been fine all day and in the evening as well. Sat on my lap or on the computer. But just after 11pm after being out for a while he suddenly lost the use of his rear legs and was howling in great pain. I managed to get him to the vets for Midnight- though the vet had to travel about 40 miles to "his" local surgery. It was a blood clot and soon afterwards it went to his lungs as well and he died an hour later.. Truly devastated at this sudden and horrible death.
I have two other cats of a similar age and 5 other tortoises and dread what other nasty things are waiting in the wings.

Three burials in 4 months....

Depressed

Very sorry to this sad news Bill. Our animals really are often like family to us and it's so hard to lose them.

I have lost both my cats this year too, the last one only 3 weeks ago, they were both huge members of our family. It's so difficult when they go and it feels like a huge void has been left. Thinking of you x
