A Cacti/Succulant I.D

I've had this a while, can anyone put a name on it please and edible. There are no spines but fine hairs.

I believe it's Opuntia cactus.Can't remember what kind of Opuntia exactly(looks Opuntia Subulata to me but I'm not sure) but it's edible.

Yep, Opuntia subulata, looks like a dwarf variety! Yummy if you a tortoise. I think my Phlox would happily kill for a piece of it!!

Cut a piece of and run the flame of a lighter quickly over it and there gone, i did, use tweezer's to hold it, i didnt, ^**""+!!*
