The swifts are back

At 1pm today the swifts arrived back in Salisbury( over my house) scooting about the sky as if they were so happy to be back. Well I am very happy they are back, it genuinely lifts my spirits when I see them, and while sitting in my garden, on a warm sunny day, watching swifts , I'm also enjoying watching all my torts out enjoying the warm sunshine. I have a regular visit from a black bird, he has his daily bath in one of the tortoise water dishes, and a couple of great tits, they keep going round the shed and fence, I think they are collecting spider webs to make their nest. What could be better than all this, not much in my book, except being in Cornwall .
