Thinking of rehoming my red foots
I am thinking of rehoming my red foots because I can not afford to get them a new bigger enclosure (am not in work at the moment) I am thinking of asking £100 for them just to recover what they cost me. If I do rehome the I need to know they have gone to a experienced and caring keeper how can I make sure that they are ?
Thanks

I would say the same as you would a dog etc ie visit the new home and meet the potential buyers, you can off course rehome by word of mouth but if you really want to be sure then try to meet and visit them. Obviously they will need the new set up in place before taking the torts so there shouldn't be a prob in seeing what they are offereing and make it plain you can keep them untill the home is ready, also if they are new to redfoots then write a good care sheet saying all that you know about caring for them and also offer after care. One more thing don't ask for less than they are worth and that can encourage those who will sell them on, if a person is offering a good home and the torts are in good condition then they shouldn't mind paying.
