Your posts as 'Lesley Hogg' will still be available on google for some time, until it re-indexes those posts. If you remove them then people clicking the links will not be able to see your posts, however it will still show up as a result on google for some time.

I'd change to a new account completely and delete your posts. This is why I always use either my 1st name or a nickname.

I agree with tortoise dude.... not sure if you will find anyone on here (could be wrong!) who uses their proper full name to register with. There is also this site called 123people which keeps popping up on google and on this you can find all the people listed with the full name, and what websites they are on such as My Space, FB etc. Also what is worrying, I think if you register (not sure if a fee is asked for) they allow you to view an address...(I THINK... as I didnt do this but it gave me the option)
This needs to be addressed by the search engines and privacy laws, IMO. But hey ho...like we will get to see that happen!
