Egyptian tortoise desperately wanted
Hi everyone! I'm struggling to source an Egyptian tortoise and wondered if anyone knows of any breeders or are selling at all? I'm looking to get one in the near future but haven't found anywhere to get one as of yet!
Thank you for any replies and help! Becky xxx |

Egyptians are very difficult to find and not the easiest tortoise to keep but if Gordon is around as Suze says he might be able to point you in the right direction.

Ha ha no egyptians at the moment becky but I do have a bag of rocking horse do do
There are others that are small :- tunisian are quite small also there are a few smaller breeds of hermans some of the spurthigh are small pancakes are a fascinating smaller tortoise. So you do have other choices. |

Hi thanks for the replies! i did contact Gordon lol that you! Im in Nottingham
I went for the Egyptians due to size as i live in a flat and don't have huge amounts of room so was looking for a breed where i could provide enough room for them as adults- i didn't want to get too large a tortoise and find when they are full size that i can't provide the best enclosure for them with the size they deserve. The Tunisians look great too! how much room would you guys recommend for one fully grown adult? thanks you! |
