Odds are the manufacturers of those products are using more D3 than they need to. If you add more calcium to that... I would think there is a chance for developing hypercalcemia.

Alright! THanks a lot guys you guys are wonderful!! I think I am going to feed them nutrobal and calcium carbonate on alter-days. It seems to work with everyone.

Can you od on nutrobal then? I use Reptavite which is the same thing I think and it doesnt say to be careful, just sprinkle on all food

Someone told me that newbies like me often find it difficult to guage the amount of Nutrobal so he suggested that I put some in a small salt pot and to 'shake a little on as if you're putting salt on your chips'

You can but not in the context of this discussion. It's like ODing on vitamins... it is possible.
Using Nutrobal alone as recommended... I don't think you can OD the stuff. Adding a little more calcium... I don't think it is a problem... adding too much calcium... I think it can lead to problems.
