Suze your using it as a supplement. I wouldn't worry your not using it daily as a food replacement
As soon as the weeds grow they will be back on the green stuff, in the meantime mix some prealpine into the pellets so they get some fibre through the gut to Mark |

And of course another staple is perennial campanula I have lots of this growing where the tortoises cant get. And is useful for feeding in the Winter. This year I also have weeds growing in the unheated coldframes. So protecting weeds will help some grow.
