Why do where the caraspace and plastron meet go like dull?
look at the pic you will see what i mean... ive reaslied its mostly with horsefields..

I think its due to them scraping their shells, if your guy is anything like my Horsfield, he's never done climbing sideways Although will be interesting to see if the experts know if theres another reason

It's interesting that you would key onto that... the shell is drying out. Now... I really don't have the time to go into the mechanics of the deal but it comes down to that the layer is worn off in the wild through its daily habits.
