I keep trying to convince myself that torts are smart little things, but I am starting to think otherwise!!
Mine like to jump off obstacles in thei enclosure. Patch just keeps going round and round doing it again and again!! Maybe she enjoys the thrill?! at the munching own leg!! Herman was doing the same to Patch the other day. Patch had walked through the limestone flour and Herman caught sniff off her leg and started trying to chomp!! Patch just kept running and Herman kept chasing and chomping!! It was a bit of a comedy sketch really!! Then Patch made the water bowl and walked through, got to the other side and Herman realised the flour had gone and gave up!! they do the funniest things!! |
