If you don't have an Aldi near you, go to your local florists, i did that today and got twice the amount Aldi is selling for £4, after i told her what it was for she went out of her way to give the best deal. I find alot of people love to help if they know it for torts.

I was informed (By an expert) that they like it to bury down in sometimes to keep themselves at the right temp. So, it's in addition to your soil/sand substrate!
I put mine in the middle of the enclousre (not in hot or cold area - as central as poss) and they have taken to it really well. They've only recently had Moss added adn they seem to love it!! I have been told they eat it sometimes, but I haven't seen mine doing it all that often!! |
