Growing Weeds
I've just ordered a pack of weed seeds from the shop. they should thrive in my garden because that's all I seem to be able to grow What I was thinking though was to grow some in the windowsill in little plastic food containers so that I could put a growing pot in Rupert's house, so that he can eat them as they grow. My question is, what is safe to grow the seeds in, in the way of compost or soil? Maybe they will grow in the coco whatsit that I've got as substrate for him, what do you think?
Please take this as number one of my stupid questions, I'm sure there will be more to come. |

I've looked through some threads and I see they don't do so well when grown indoors. Ok, I'll grow them out of doors, still in pots so I still would like to know what would be the best sort of soil to grow them in please

There is no such thing as a stupid question on here. I am sure someone experienced will be along soon to answer it for you.

Nope, no such thing as a stupid question, believe me, I've asked plenty of questions!
I planted mine today, I bought a tray off SW shop that had soil and calcium in it, it has to be untreated soil, not compost, top soil would do I think, not sure about the coco coir. I'm not green fingered at all, fingers crossed mine grow!

Awww thank you both. I'll try a few in the coco coir and see what happens, surely weeds will grow anywhere...they do in my garden haha.
