Default Any geeks out there like planes/plane spotters

Not sure if anyone has used this before but its really good, it shows you where the planes are around the world in real time http://planefinder.net/ I use it when doing airport work in my taxi to see where the planes are its real accurate. You zoom in to planes get details of the plane etc.

Also there is an update for mobile phones and it looks really cool, its called planefinder 3D its £1.99 take a look at it on these video's.

I quite like planes and play a fair amount of flight sims on my PC although I don't know a huge amount about planes in general in terms of spotting or identifying them.

I wish I could afford to get a PPL/CPL so I could fly them myself. I'm tempted to try to move into something to do with aviation for a new job, but I'm quite happy in IT anyway.

I've got "flightradar24", it's a free app which sounds like it does the same thing as planefinder 3d.
