Default Any Dr's midwives or nurses on here???

I've got sinusitis and I'm in agony, need to know if there's anything safe I can take/buy over the counter.... I'm nearly 18 weeks pregnant and there's lots of conflicting advice even from Drs regarding what's safe!!!

I am not medically trained but I have heard Sudafed is ok when pregnant. Can I just ask you to check with your GP that everything is OK with you in general as headache is a sign of preclampsia (not sure of the spelling)Don't want to worry you but it's best to check.

Hi, I'm a maxillofacial nurse, the old fashioned head oved steaming water with towl over head usually helps and is not harmful to baby, just be careful not to scald yourself, you should be safe to add small amount of albus oil or eucalyptus or lavender oil, paracetamol can help with the discomfort, if you get a temperature with it you must seek help from your Dr, hope u feel better soon x
