Default last night

last night on my way for my king prawn pattaya etc I was not going fast at all but I spun the car at a corner and landed between two trees with my front wheels hanging over a drop in mid air. About 20 cars passed and never stopped though they all slowed down.

Then one car stopped, it was a young lad in his 20's and he phoned someone that he knew with a 4x4 who came and pulled me out but while we were waiting for this guy another car came the opposite way and spun about 4 times before ending up in the hedge, he wasn't stuck like me and was able to drive off. the temperature was 14c so it wasn't ice, the only thing it could be was oil, mud or leaves, I think it may have been leaves as there were trees on both sides of the road but it was dark and I couldn't see what was on the road. Anyway I have only a small dent in the car and last night I felt fine but today I can harldy move, it has got worse as the day has went on

Oh god Alan that must have been so scary

Thank goodness that onelad stopped, sorry state of affairs that so many cars passed without helping

Did you actually hit the trees then? Might you have whiplash or something?

no I didn't hit the trees Bindi, luckily I ended up between them, I was about a foot off one of them. I hit a rotten fence post which has dented the bit below the passenger door, lucky it was rotten or it would have been a worse dent. I had £30 on me, a £20 and a tenner so I gave the guy that pulled me out the £20 and the tenner to the lad.

everyone knows that you have to steer the other way but when it happens you are not expecting it and you haven't time to think. I think it's muscular stiffness in my neck and back

Glad you're OK, that could so easily been a disaster and I bet it was really scary.

A word of advice, take more water with it next time.

Blimey, that's awful. Just goes to show how easily these things happen. My hubby was involved in a collision in the summer. He was fine, just shaken, that night but the whiplash and other injuries took effect the next day. He's off for a brain scan next week and has an appointment to see a neurologist due to a headache that hasn't shifted since the accident.
Take good care of yourself Alan and if you still have aches and pains in the week, get them checked out. x
