I did the diet for nearly 12 months, lost 3 stone.
Lost the weight but I was a cow, miserable all the time... all the symptoms above. Used to go for a you know what every 5 days if I was lucky - but you have the feeling that you want to go everyday, but can't. Not nice and really uncomfortable. I could not go on that diet again if you paid me. |

I'm still quite low carb - 1 slice of bread a day (lunch time). Evening meal will be meat, fish, veg or salad. If I have a pasta dish I'll have a small amount of pasta.
Don't really not eat anything I want but if I were to have quiche I'd have it with just salad. Never really alter from this... and I went on to lose another stone, that took another 12 months though, now I've levelled out. I have as much fruit as I want through the day (healthy sugar and fibre) and always have a latte coffee and a banana for breakfast. I never eat diet (low fat) foods, I believe the body needs fat and they are loaded with sugar and salt anyway. I think the key is no sweets, biscuits etc (processed sugars) as these sugars causes insulin the rise quickly then dip, then you start craving and feeling lousy.
