I look like a lunatic
I have so many fungus gnats flying around my house that I seem to spend the whole day walking around clapping. Sitting watching TV and a fly hovers in front of you so you clap to catch it, I look like some raving lunatic. If this carries on I will be because it's diving me mad.

We have some too!!! We've had some in the bedroom and I can't figure out why when I only have an orchid plant in there.

Hi guys
We used to get really bad gnats due to the insects we keep. I found the carnivorous plant pinguicula moranensis works really well at catching them. Keep one on a windowsill and most flies should disappear . https://www.easycarnivores.co.uk/sho...oranensis.html You can pick them up in most garden centres, I got one in the clearance section for a bargain £1 |

I spotted a couple of flying insects in the house the other day and thought it was a bit strange at this time of year

You are lucky to have just a couple. I have to do a daily cull. They hang around the windows so I squish them with my finger, no idea where they are coming from, like Emma I have only one plant upstairs, in my bathroom, the only room that doesn't have flies.
