I have a friend who fed hers boiled egg shells (I had forgotten actually, must try it) I do feed hatchlings their own egg shells, some eat them others dont!
The velociraptor comment made me laugh!

I'm going to try that at the weekend. I'm making cakes for Saturday so will have some shells.
