Default Identification of this weed please

Hi there,

So over the winter months Mrs Shellhard's outdoor enclosure has grown some weeds all on it's own, which is great, as long as they're safe to eat.

So I'll post some pics of what's been growing, hopefully you guys can tell me what they are ^^

Thanks all

Its I think herb roberts, and tortoises dont eat it:0(
The little plant between the two big ones, with round leaves is bittercress and tortoise can eat it:0)

Thank you!

The good news is that it shouldn't harm her in small quantities if she has a nibble, but from observing her it seems like she took one bite and decided she hates it :P

I'll leave them in there to keep that natural feel to the enclosure.

Thanks for your help

Just to say Herb Robert does tend to take over, so keeping it under control is best:0)

You've got a Willow Herb (the green glossy leaved one) and Oxalis (the reddy/brown leafed one) - both of which should not be fed. I would remove them as they will spread like wildfire!

I agree with Willow herb, Bittercress and Oxalis. Only bittercress is a safe feed, though as Sandy says, the Willow Herb won't hurt in small quantities, but I tend to pull it up.

It's willow herb and I leave it as it makes a good shade area when it's bigger.
My lot never touch it so I don't worry the only thing is if you don't pull it up before it seeds you will end up with tons of it.

Isn't it just typical - the weed that grows well is the one that isn't any use!

The oxalis is the little dark leafed one that looks like a mini clover....get it out NOW, because once you get little yellow flowers it's followed by exploding seed pods and it's rampant!! U just have to touch the pods and they send seeds everywhere!! I've had years of trying to get rid! Make sure you dig all the roots out because it can re shoot from roots as well!
