don't forget if the normal cobs are to coarse you can always put them through a grinder

I ordered the Herbs through the SW shop but received the fibre I emailed but got no reply so guess they will have to put up with it

Mark that's a good sign - honestly! Once you get them eating pre alpin you can feed other stuff some days.

Vikki I'm really surprised you got sent the fibre, I've ordered several times from the sw shop and it's always been cobs of herb. Eating pre alpin fibre is like your tortoise having a really serious January detox diet!

I was a bit disappointed but fortunately it was only the small size so not a huge loss if they really decide to turn their noses up at it

I swear by this stuff .. If you have a tort that doesn't seem too charmed with it at first, I whizz up some cucumber in my chopper and mix it in..
