Hiya and welcome, I use sand and soil as substrate on my table, but some people's torts have had trouble with the sand getting into the torts eyes so just use Soil. I have some readigrass in the hide for my tort to did down into to sleep.
You will need a slate to put your torts weeds on to keep the substrate getting onto their dinner and also it will keep your torts beak nice and trim. A cuttlefish, for extra calcium and also to keep the beak trim. Some flatish stones for them to climb over to keep their claws nice and short A water dish with a few pebbles in to enable them to turn back over if the flip over in the water Do you have any pics of your set-up at the mo, we can maybe give you suggestions on waht you have and what you can get |

Hi there i have just finished my new tort table today,it was built yesterday.I used top soil for the bedding, 3 plants which i made sure was safe, along with some spag moss cant remember what it was called, scattered around the plants,a little log cave for him to hide in,a water bowl, with cuttle fish, and i made a path with some pebbles i bought and washed off leading up to and around the plants, with some stones going around the plants like a little border. And i bought some willow wooden bendy mini border it's like a cute little fence,it's not very high, looks like a mini knome's garden!! i have only some of that bending around the back where the plants are.it looks nice with the willow fence behind the leaves makes it look so real life, but smaller!I've not got any pics yet as i only finished it tonight, and i'm off on holiday 2mora,but i'll put some on here when i'm back.hope this helps.

Hello
For sub I use sterilised topsoil with a bit of readigrass. In my tort table i have couple rocks, slate, fiddlesticks my torts love them (they are a row of sticks that are bendable and you can make a bridge they can walk over and hide under or just lay them flat. They are about £3 + on EBay), Hollow log, Cuttle fish, Couple safe plants, terracotta plant pot layed on its side. Hope that helps.
