I voted OUT, not enough jobs, low wages, can't afford a holiday, high taxes, nhs stretched beyond a joke, not enough housing, businesses folding etc etc xxx

I can't understand this rediculouse idea, from the losing side, of having another referendum because they didn't win, it's a bit like on sports day the 100 m sprint, the loser saying " that wasn't fare, too many people in race, I didn't have a chance of winning, can we do it again, so I can win this time"

I didn't vote and don't really care whether we are in or out as the sun will still rise and set but my house is up for sale so could have done without a referendum at the moment

Couldn't agree more, Suze. The decision has been made and they all had plenty of time to think and research it before voting.

The view from Scotland is different and the campaign for another independence referendum is gathering pace. Compared to England, this place is empty, so Scots don't get the idea that the country is "full".

I'm a migrant myself, having moved from England 30 years ago.

David Cameron gambled the future of the country for political gain and it's blown up in his face.

It's hard to explain the utter contempt felt for Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage here. If either fancy a visit, they had better bring the army with them!

Yes a Remain vote would have meant Independence Referendums would never have been mentioned again for at least 50 years

I know what you mean Alan. It's been non-stop indy talk ever since the referrendum which was supposed to settle it for a generation.

Not being Scottish, I didn't vote in the Indy referendum. Lots of Scottish people insisted I should vote because I've been here a long time etc. Just so long as I voted for independence!

But will independence for Scotland be the right thing for them now, if they gain independence from the UK, there money from us will stop and they will be financially on their own until they gain membership of the EU, which they will have to apply for, which presumably can take time, so not good for their economy, I would have thought.
