This is a bulk standard 500 watt infra red heater I bought purely for heating purposes, its mighty powerful and has an operational minimum distance of 1.8 metres. I was thinking of using it via a pulse propotional thermostat..
http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/DXIRX50N.html Also playing around with a 250 watt AMS microclimate system, a self contained ceramic heater/pulse proportional thermostat system. Also been checking out basking spot humidity levels comparing MVB's to ceramic heaters. Ceramics seen to be less draining on RH within a basking area. Last edited by Kirkie; 11-02-2011 at 01:39 AM. |
