That's reassuring news Merlin. The valium should make a difference to Buzz's vet trips. Hopefully you can breathe a little again now. x

Thanks, yes it is a relief, good even knowing I don't need to worry so much about trips to the vet - although he tried to say the seizures are bot stress related, but there is a clear pattern which he couldn't deny!

Great news Merlin. I think I will have to get Teddy some sedatives for when he goes to the vet, he gets so stressed and tries to bite the vet, he's never bitten anyone. She puts a muzzle on him but he gets it off.

Poor Teddy! The older they get the more poked and prodded they get! Buzz only once tried to bite the vet (he was looking at a very sore infected broken nail) usually she responds well to bribery

We've never been able to use bribery with Teddy. He point blank refuses to eat when he's not in his own home. The vet has offered him treats but he never takes them. She has commented that she's never had a dog refuse a treat before.

It is horrid watching her get old, but still wouldn't change a thing! She has been very cuddly this week, but that is normal for her after a seizure for a week or two (well more so than normal and she is a teddy bear and loves cuddles!)
