NOT MUCH BIGGER THAN A 50p COIN...
...Here is a photo (from last August) showing the size difference between my largest and smallest Spur thighed Ibera hatchlings from the same clutch, they were 1 to 2 days old. So when a breeder says to you, "there not much bigger than a 50p coin when born" its quite true ...T.T. 8)

i am lucky in that iv'e got 3 redfoots coming but i think i've been worrying a little to soon with regards to their size i just want eveything to be perfect but torts so little do not need a whole garden just yet but i am, still planning fir the future linda |

Here is a picture of two sibling (same clutch) iberas now 18 months old with a huge size difference. I have had many youngsters that show a big difference in size to each other , just goes to show how text book size and age is when trying to judge the age of tortoises when hatching dates are not known Darren |
