Default Horsefield cannot see nostrils making noise

Any help please. Our 4/5 yr old Horsefield has started making noises out of nostrils. But we've noticed we cannot see her nostrils at all. There's no discharge or anything where they should be!!!!

What have you been feeding if pellets it's possible they are blocked up with some pellet or any other soft food you have given.

If not that it could of had a bit of RNS when it hibernated and the mucus has dried in its nose if this is the case it needs removing.

They can breathe through the mouth, but I understand this is not so good, as they naturally breathe through the nose.

I would think you have spoken to the vet by now. So would be good to hear what happened.

I agree with this, it's possible.

is it like a clicking noise or wheezy. reckon mucus same as Gordon and Suze - can look really skin like when dried. dabbing will help though may not look like it. I thought one of mine had a awful skin condition but it was a small piece of tomato skin dried completely on the skin - wouldn't come off for ages even with warm water rubbing, CB
