Hi Clare,They eat chick crumbs for the first 6-8 weeks then they move onto Growers pellets till they are 16 weeks then either Layers Pellets or Layers Mash |

My Eglu is approx 10ft long (Including the house) and 5ft wide. That can easily fit 2 - 3 Hens or 4 Bantam Hens Maybe more if they can free-range during the day.They are Quite eggspensive though. (Mine cost £250 second hand) |
