marking normal?
Here are pics of my Hermann THB, nearly 3yrs old.
Do you think his lines in between the scuttles look right? There seem to be more black and exaggerated just recently and I wonder if I should worry. Some at the front give a cracked appearance. He has a weed diet with limestone flour sprinkled on and couple times a week he has Reptavite on too. I spray his enclosure regally with water for humidity and he has a warm bath every other day in just water. Maybe I am just worrying. Thanks

You can your tortoise is developing a darker band on the outside of the scutes, so the dark lines between the scutes is the growing area and quite normal.
