No, Barcelona signed him up when he was about 12.

There's a player called Massa, can't remember who he plays for though

I didn't see it that way which is why I asked. I saw both players in front of the opposing team before the ball was passed.

Thanks for the video... I guess I don't understand the rule. From what I understand both of those players are clearly off sides.

We've had some interesting stuff at the Euros so far. Holland not getting any points, Russia and Poland out. I really wanted Denmark and Croatia to qualify. There are many players who never have stepped up to international level, RVP, Ronaldo.
The big players at the Euros and the clubs they play for are as follows:
Rooney, England, Manchester UTD
Gerrard, England, Liverpool
Hart, Englans, Man City
Robin Van Persie, Arsenal, Holland
Ronaldo, Madrid, Portugal
Ozil, Madrid, Germany
Gomez, Munich, Germany
Lahm, Munich, Germany
Xavi, Barcelona Spain
Iniesta BarcelonaSpain
Casillas Madrid Spain
Ribery, France, Munich
Lewandowski Poland Dortmund
Huntelar, Holland
Chiellini Italy
Benzema France Madrid
Arshavin Russia Arsenal
Some of those teams are out but I've tried to include players from all the better teams.

Here's what it is

Here is a good example of the not being ahead of the ball thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5H6W9fGRvBI A lot of people don't know that a penalty kick does not have to be taken directly at goal. As long as the second player is outside the box when the first player takes it and and neither of them are ahead of the ball when they receive it then it's onside
