need a new tortoise table

Hi

My petey is getting too big for his table. Not a lot of space to roam about as well as him being dangerously close to the top when he climbs.

Length 21 inches
height 8 inches
width 40 inches

Any ideas on where to get a bigger table.

Always go for the biggest space you have for them.
No space is really to big for them. As they grow of course, they need bigger enclosures. If you make the biggest you have more room for them. You can always shorten a large enclosure, by sectioning it off. But a smaller one you have to make a new enclosure every time.

cheapest is to make it, a peice of ply for the base and sides made of mdf etc simple and can be made for £20 or so, you can also make it to fit the space you have, make the sides at least 12inch to allow for the soil etc. You can also use a peice of furniture such as a book case on its back or the top of something as your base and just attatch sides, I've used all sorts in the past with a bit of imagination.

My parent inlaws make them to order and size if anyone is interested have a look at the one I have in my pics
