paint for tortoise house
My outdoor enclosure has been built (it's fab!!!) I have a wooden house for inside am I right in thinking it's yacht varnish I should use?? Hope so I bought a tin yesterday and it wasn't cheap!!!

Not sure on paint sorry (I use ordinary fence paint) but as long as it has dried I think it will be fine. I believe Yacht varnish is very hard wearing. Anyway, im rambling! I would love to see a picture of your enclosure please

torts don't chew wood but fumes could be a problem but as long as the varnish is dry and stopped smelling it should be ok, we always use a product thats child/baby friendly where animals are to play safe though.

I just used a normal quick drying low odour varnish for my table
