I think I would be doing just that, putting things on top. Could you have a hook and eye system on each side, bigs hooks and eyes obviously the plastic would need to be built into a wooden frame, with the hooks on and the eye bit on the pen, does that make sense
Lovely pen ,

One long piece of wood down the centre perhaps, just put on when windy? Thicker than the one you have on the top now and perhaps same colour as the sides if you wanted it to look nice.

Make a frame with wood and screw it to it then screw some more baterns over the top of the edge ones put some hinges on the back and a latch on the front.

hi Matt ! oooh I have just something a little similar over my bench in the garden. Can you cut into it easily? You could place four pieces of wood a little higher to where they are joined in the corners and then cut 4 squares (small, two longer) into the plastic and slide right side first under the wood and then left. Or make two long pieces of wood either side and slide up into them....good luck. you have some really good tort areas ! CB

Buy a buckle cam strap. Very easy to open and close but would involve making a small slit in the box for the webbing.
eBay for less then £2. |
