For those of you that like Ouzo (CB) try it with fresh orange juice and lots of ice. Has to be a hot day, so hopefully not long to wait.

I used to love going into the kitchens in Greece to choose dinner from the pots.

I feel lucky to have travelled in what appeared to be a safer world, but then of course when you are young I don't think you worry so much. I travelled with so little money when I think back. These days I won't stay anywhere without an en-suite!

Suze - tell us more. The little snippets are so interesting.

I think ive tried it with everything going but maybe not fresh orange juice. I cant remember the beer they had in Greece. There was only one type if I remember.
I don't think Im as old as Suze so she was a trailblazer ! though I did tour round America and after swimming at night (snuck into the pool ) took the wrong lift back to room and found myself and a girlie friend in the Restaurant at Caesars palace - got a right telling off. Suze could write a my family and other tortoises greek style !
