sorry to dissapoint, that book is awfull!
no wonder its called tortoises for Dummies, it must have been written by a dummy! i would say download the guide off my website: www.tortoise-world.com (the small and easy to read one) or the one from Lin king, if you do a google search, for Tlday, it should come up! Better still, BOTH! Josh |

Sorry Joey in my opinion this book is a load of rubbish ;
If you want a good read on tortoise care in captivity your best getting something written by Andy Highfield try this site for good reading WWW.VIDI-HERP.COM Other good reading Timothy the tortoise by Rory Knight Bruce . A Sheltered Life by Paul Chambers history of the giant galapagos tortoise and aldabras ( this book is excellent) Encyclopedia of turtles by Dr Peter C.H.Pritchard Darren

Ho well well at least I'll have some thing to mindlessly read when the nights start to draw back in ... and if we run out of coal, this book should keep us going for an hour

You dont have to go to anybodies site to acssess Lin Kings booklet. If you go to
www.tortoises.net you can see all Lins great plant list with pictures, and her downloadable booklet on raising torts from hatchling to adult. The addy is Lins site.
