I hope you like reading it and that it inspires in you all my vision for 'effective' and 'ethical' husbandry.

It certainly was a labour of love writing it!

I've finally got around to ordering a copy today. It's been a busy old summer so looking forward to having some quality time to sit and read and enjoy it.
For those of you who are also interested in purchasing it, Swell have an Arcadia 10% markdown special offer running over the bank holiday. I've just stocked up and the book's included in the offer.

You might have to give us a summary Emma! I am just finishing off Ken follett, not literally but literaturely...and then The Longest Ride. A.John's book does look good though, CB

Oh I love Ken Follet. The Pillars of the Earth and World Without End are two of my favourite books.

Will let you know what I think.

yes please do.

I have those books on my wish list! - by your recommendation. This is the ends of the world triology. From welsh mining village thru the first and second world wars and into cold war. watching all the adults and now their children grow up. He has such a unique style. I think he wrote Eye of the Needle. I remember that from years ago and the film was edge of seat. I so love books, it is my favourite thing on earth apart from Tortoises, CB
