18c overnight is fine You might want to think about getting a heat emitter though for when the really cold nights hit, unless you are hibernating

You can keep your Arcadia 160 on a timer, and have it come on at say, 6am, and off around 6pm. By 7:30a, the basking spot will be nice and toasty.
18c is definitely not too cold at night. But you can always plan on a small CHE or other night bulb on a thermostat as a back up, if your home gets very cold. Sometimes you can find day/night timers so they can both be on the same timer.
